Gerry Lyons graduated from the Ontario College of Art, Toronto, Canada in 1965 with a degree in industrial design. He has worked as a professional designer in the development of product design, graphic design, package design and illustration.

Gerry began drawing at a very early age working in pencil, crayons and pastels, and majored in art and design in high school. He is dedicated to continuous improvements in artistic skills including drawing and painting, photography, wood carving, stain glass and computer imaging.

Gerry is the past president of the Burlington Fine Arts Guild where he served in various executive capacities in the Guild as well as on the Arts Council.
